Reflections
Some conspiracy theories involving aliens mix popular beliefs and modern myths, such as mixing these things with religions. Some that I read about involve theories of genetic manipulation or extraterrestrial origins of humanity, because it touches my biological side, so I find myself thinking about it from time to time, in a casual way.
It states that human beings were created or modified by alien civilizations. Hence the following:
Anunnaki (Zecharia Sitchin): Sumerian civilization allegedly reported beings from another planet (Nibiru) who created humans as a slave race.
“Ancient Astronauts” (Erich von Däniken): ancient gods were actually aliens who taught civilization, engineering, and agriculture.
Alien DNA: some theories claim that part of the human genome contains “non-terrestrial signatures”.
But the problem with the first two, besides the whole issue of slavery, is that they devalue human labor. Most of these theories talk about non-white communities receiving divine/alien aid to sustain their population or build their pyramids. The last one is actually quite plausible; I've read some scientific studies about it, but nothing yet that's completely established as common sense within academia.
Other theories include alien control over Earth (such as by the Reptilians (David Icke)), it would be as if our mistakes and sins were the responsibility of something other than ourselves.
Infiltrations among humanity for evil purposes are a more complicated reflection I have, let me explain; I don't think a civilization of level 5 or higher would want to expend so much energy dominating other civilizations of a very low level, like ours. We are thinking like humans, who have always invaded and waged war with ourselves, mainly to acquire resources. Someone who has such advanced technology to travel light-years wouldn't be concerned with resources. I, thinking as a biologist, would at most sit and observe the new specimens, catalog everything, and leave, perhaps returning from time to time to see how things are going, all out of pure curiosity!
Meanwhile, this so-called Cosmic Awakening, well, I think that falls somewhere between religion and spirituality, and I don't have a formed opinion on it, other than thinking it's similar to the Christian rapture.
What I like to think about is that, besides being extraterrestrial, some beings may exist in other dimensions. But then, it's very close to something spiritual. I think we don't have all the capacity for observation and wisdom; perhaps the two things will overlap at some point. Instead of being "places," dimensions are seen as coexisting layers of reality, each vibrating at a different frequency of energy and consciousness.

Believe it or not, here are some alien races that I occasionally look up.
Greys (or Zeta Reticulians)
* Alleged origin: Zeta Reticuli star system (Reticulum constellation).
* Appearance: Short (1.0–1.5 m), grayish skin, large black eyes, no visible nose or mouth.
* Nature: Generally neutral to ambiguous—they carry out abductions and genetic experiments.
* Dimension: Physical (although some say they travel between dimensions).
* Popularization: Roswell case (1947) and abduction reports in the 1960s–1990s.
Reptilians (Draconians)

* Alleged origin: Draco or Alpha Draconis constellation.
* Appearance: Humanoids with scaly skin, vertical eyes, physical strength, and psychic abilities.
* Nature: Generally described as malevolent or domineering.
* Alternative versions: Some are said to be human-reptilian hybrids or 4th-dimensional beings.

Pleiadians
* Alleged origin: Pleiades star cluster (especially Taygeta).
* Appearance: Tall humanoids, fair skin, blond or golden hair, blue eyes.
* Nature: Benign and spiritual—said to guide humanity towards evolution.
* Presence: Physical and also in subtle planes (5th dimension).
* Popularization: Channelings from the 1970s–80s (Billy Meier, Barbara Marciniak).
Arcturians
* Alleged origin: Arcturus star (Boötes constellation).
* Appearance: beings of bluish light, large eyes, humanoid form.
* Nature: highly benevolent and spiritual, acting as "ascended masters".
* Dimension: 5th to 9th dimension.
* Popularization: New Age channelings (1980s–2000s).
Andromedans
* Origin: Andromeda galaxy.
* Appearance: Varied, generally ethereal and humanoid in appearance, blue.
* Nature: Benevolent; opposed to reptilian domination and defenders of cosmic freedom.

Insectoids (Mantises)
* Origin: Uncertain, associated with parallel dimensions.
* Appearance: Large, praying mantis-like beings with compound eyes and long limbs.
* Nature: Neutral to benevolent, though initially frightening.
* Function: Supervisors of the Greys in genetic programs.
* Reports: Common in abductions and hypnotic regressions.
Sirians
* Origin: Sirius A and B stars (Canis Major constellation).
* Appearance: humanoids with bluish or bronze skin; some described as aquatic (dolphin-like).
* Nature: benign, linked to ancestral wisdom and spiritual technology.
* Mystical association: Ancient Egypt and submerged civilizations (Atlantis, Lemuria).
Lyrans
* Origin: Lyra star system.
* Appearance: Original humans, genetic prototypes of humanoid races.
* Nature: Positive, they disseminated the human seed throughout the galaxy.
* Mythical conflict: Persecuted by the Draconians and refugees in the Pleiades and Andromeda.
Annunaki
* Origin: long-orbit planet Nibiru.
* Appearance: humanoid giants, about 3–4 meters tall, with long beards (like Sumerian gods).
* Nature: ambiguous—creators of humanity but also its exploiters.
* Source: Zecharia Sitchin (interpretation of Sumerian myths).
Alpha Centaurians
* Origin: Alpha Centauri system (the closest to the Sun).
* Appearance: humanoids with olive or blue-green skin.
* Nature: positive, linked to healing and science.
* Interaction: described in some military contacts and esoteric channelings.
Beings of Light / Interdimensional Beings
* Origin: Non-planetary; they are believed to be pure energy consciousnesses.
* Appearance: Pulsating lights, spheres, or ethereal forms.
* Nature: Varied—some benevolent, others neutral.
* Dimension: 5th to 12th dimensions, outside of linear time.
* Context: Viewed as spiritual guides or ascended beings.
Interdimensional Negatives (“Archons”, “Shadow beings”, “Energy parasites”)

* Appearance: Shadows, smoke, shapeless figures.
* Nature: Malevolent or parasitic, feeding on human fear and emotional energy.
* Relationship with UFOs: Modern Gnostic theory links them to reptilians as vibrational manipulators.
So there are real concepts in modern physics that could — hypothetically — provide a physical basis for certain UFO phenomena that, from today's point of view, seem "mystical", like; Multiverse and Parallel Realities, Wormholes (Einstein-Rosen Bridges), Extra Dimensions and Brane Universes, Propulsion and Spacetime Distortion, Quantum Effects and Consciousness. But that's where my monkey brain stops because I've always been bad at things beyond basic physics and basic math.
